I was at the gym with my normal workout planned when suddenly I felt this cool rush of air coming from hand. Upon looking down I noticed that I had opened a cut on my knuckle. For those who are feeling depressed or have an urge for a quick rush I can understand now how cutting can appear to solve this issue. Of course I don’t condone such action but understanding where it comes from and how it makes someone feel might help me help them find better ways of relieving their mental health pain. I kept on with my workout and this time felt the healthy rush that was running through my veins not coming out of them. If you are a cutter think about ways to keep that rush going instead having it end in a slice working out of a gym can give you a long term feeling instead.
