I broke my chocolate rules but Handemacht gave me a good excuse. For I forbid myself to have a chocolate bar with less then 70% Cocoa (usually 85 %) but when a bean is produced near an active volcano area I have to make the exemption and I’m glad I did. The smoky flavor of this bar is even more prevalent then in the Cuba bar (another forbidden area) and is something worth experiencing even if you must break your own rules. It is correct the flavor only will stay with you only until it melts but that moment is pure smoke chocolate ecstasy which might not be absorbed with a higher content cocoa. The smokey flavor might be too much for your normal palate but when you dare to cross the line Handgemacht Wervoll 100% Naturlich Einzigartig Java 64 % should be a route you should travel at least once.
