You might wonder what April The Giraffe, Cara Delevingne & Easter have in common on this day? They all represent individuals that draw our attention for very different reasons and some will hold our attention a bit longer. Cara Delevingne hair style change will probably shock her fans and the general public for a week or two ,while April the Giraffe will hold our attention a bit longer with the birth of her new child, yet the story of Jesus Christ resurrection/ Easter has held it for over 2000 years. I guess hair styles will go in and out of fashion and birth’s of exotic animals is fascinating but nothing comparing to the story of resurrecting from the dead. So if you want to hit Google Trends for the next 2000 years I would suggest you be born a Giraffe change your hair style die for the sin of other Giraffe’s and come back from the dead… oh it might also help if you spoke English as well.

How would you react or live your live if you knew yesterday that someone gave their life so you could  live? Christianity is based on the faith that Jesus gave his life for our sins but that is faith.  There are many other martyr’s in various faith’s  yet their sacrifice seems quite distant . Yet today there are some who can tell their stories such as the Holocaust survivor who knows their loved one pushed them in the line of life while they died, or the Syrian family member who covered their child with their live so they wouldn’t die of poison gas.  How would one remember such individuals who might have been far from perfect in their regular life but gave it all to save you or their community?  Would some marker be enough or would a guilt burden’s one heart every beep? I guess it’s how we keep such a person alive in our acts and thoughts that will allow one to continue their life beating at it’s own pace and whether we would do the same if so called.

The stampede at Penn Station after false reports of a lone gunman & the reaction to the fire at the Bellagio are quite different but point to the same solution. Where the people in New York over-reacted to a police officer tasering a disorderly individual, many people at the Bellagio didn’t react quick enough to a fire because they thought it was part of a “show”.  The solution isn’t as simple but must become more effective because sometimes the reaction can be worse then the action that is occurring. There needs to better calmer and direct communications to the public at large and an orderly exit system should an emergency occur in any location especially those with large crowds. Testing and retesting needs to occur on a more regular basis even if it’s an initial inconvenience to better study and secure locations should an emergency occur.  Now that we’ve seen the problem let us work toward a solution that saves life’s should such an emergency actually occur.

I love bread & cookies so much but  I love G-D infinitely more.  My mind, eyes and body want to devour them almost everyday but my soul tells me to wait till after Pesach is over. G-D has given me the ability to eat, breath and be free so waiting a couple more days to sanctify the holiday of Passover isn’t so bad.  I’m past the half way mark this year and even looking at these images makes me want to ask G-D for a waiver but without a direct answer I’ll just have to hope looking will satisfy this crunch.  Well I guess Matzoh has it’s own crunch of it’s own and by Tuesday it will be replaced with COOKIES and bread.

Security is nothing without the people who are supposed to do the securing. It’s not only those who look at their pillow instead of  the camera but those who have better texting or smart phone activities to do instead of the paid work there supposed to be performing.  If that’s not tough enough some can look the other way when seductive offers are put in front of their face whether it be in goods or services.  If we are truly to secure places it is not the equipment that will keep us secure but the people who are called security that will.  Rigorous and surprise testing must be done to insure that they are up for the job and we are safe.

Sorry to the  readers that might have been lead to believe that this post has anything to do with the pictures above, it’s a dead issue. For the day I am speaking about was trying to revive customers that for all business practices appeared to dead to us. Yes they might growl or gnaw but never actually took a bite. It’s as if they couldn’t speak to us anymore so I went to see if they were still alive. It’s great to see that most still existed and I believe I might have found a cure to their zombie like behavior. Yet for others I fear that their world will not bend with ours anymore and maybe it’s not as bad as it could feel.

I apologize in advance if this offends any of my Christian brothers & sisters but as a practicing person of the Jewish faith I can’t understand the name. I understand your faith teaches you that upon Christ’s death all your sins are placed on him but still he is dead and putting Good on Friday makes it appear to us Non-Christians that you’re happy about his death.  I also understand that Good can be interrupted to be “Holy” but at this point shouldn’t you think up changing it up instead? Unless all Christians are Irish I don’t believe most will celebrate a death no matter where they might be going.  Maybe tradition is keeping you from making the change but many have changed names – NY Americans became the NY Yankees, Charlotte Bobcats became the Charlotte Hornets, Datsun became Nissan so Good change to Redemption Friday.  Just a thought from someone looking in from outside.  Either way you might say it may G-D bless you and your family on your holy day with health, happiness, peace and love
