I’ve been called many names in the past some which I’m not very proud of but today was a 1st that delighted my body, mind and soul …it also gave me some  laugh   I knew that my college years and study would some how pay off but I never thought it would be to this degree. Yet lately I’ve been studying this topic a bit more so it’s possible I’ve converted some to my thinking.  You can say that my friend just dialed the wrong number or maybe it was sign from above when he called me …. Rabbi.  Well at least for the moment I had a new job and position in life.

Why & when do people have the time to “Unfriend” a friend? I’ve noticed that some will unfriend those that have differing political opinions or who don’t respond the way they want but shouldn’t you want to have diverse friends especially when these are friends you don’t have to invite to your house?  I think I may have unfriended one person (they might have just been blocked)but it wasn’t over words they said but action they took. Of course there are words that cross your lines but why make those lines so pastel instead of bright Red. It also can be time consuming unfriending people when so many other things are on your calendar.   I believe you should keep a diverse group of friends for one can never knows when a point of view outside your box will truly be welcome.

Thank you Aaron Hernandez for ending your life before we spent another cent on your worthless existence.  I know this might go against my normal “Pro Life” and general faith remarks but enough is enough. This man who had the chance to live a life full of fame, fortune and success decided to become a street thug instead.I’m sorry for the pain his death caused to his family but what of the pain his existence gave to the family members of his victims  He was convicted and sentenced for one murder and just got off another a double murder what really was the point of his existence? I wish more murders and child rapist would follow in his footsteps. .   A matter of  fact his actions inspired me to go against another philosophy of expanding government spending but I figure we could put a few more nooses in murders and  vicious rapist cells just in case they have their own thoughts.

There is a certain sadness that one should feel about the departure of Bill O’Reilly whether you’re a fan or not.  Here are a few points (below) to consider from various perspectives even those that feel victorious with his departure.

(1) CONVICTED WITHOUT TRIAL- The allegations are pretty intense and maybe there is smoke hiding under his desk but for now they are basically accusations. Accusations that could easily have been brought on by political motives.

(2) COURT SETTLEMENT- It is true that sometimes it’s best to settle rather then going through the intense scrutiny of a trial but you should also realize what looks good initially  can  really look bad in the future. If there’s no smoke to the allegations then maybe it’s worth sitting through the fire.

(3) SAYING GOODBYE- Bill O’Reilly has been a staple in many people’s life’s and his departure without even saying goodbye to his audience,  leaves many with a bitter taste for Fox’s replacement.

(4) SEXUAL HARASSMENT- It appears too easy for some  in power to feel they can use that power on others when up on the ladder but at the same their are others who will bring a false allegations to have those on top fall below.  There needs to be better ways to deal with this issue in the office as well as out of it.

(5) REPUTATION- Where does Bill O’Reilly go to get his image back if he is truly innocent and what about the image of those accused if they are telling the truth.

(6) WORDS VS ACTION- Bill O’Reilly’s words might have been over the top but another Bill served his time in office for actions that were even more objectionable.

MSNBC, CNN, NY Times were already to pronounce “LOUDLY ” Trump’s big loss at the 6th Congressional District in Georgia but today you have to listen very carefully for any results. For they aren’t waving Jon Osoff’s hand in the air but holding it closer to the ground as he faces an uphill battle against Republican Karen Handel after Democrats spent millions to see there victory parade rained out for today.  I guess they’ll have to go back and see if there is any Russian connection to this story.

Is it just me but when I’m spending double digits for a drink I don’t want to think it’s made in a lab but home grown? Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino  should put to rest any notion that Starbucks is a healthy alternative to McDonald’s in your waistline or pocketbook.   This drink will come with all the thrills and chills  but was developed in a Frankstein Lab that was experimenting with the right color of blue and red dye rather then Grandma’s kitchen.  So enjoy your Unicorn and remember to tip your chemist on the way out.
