You have the words exactly as you want them but when you open your mouth it’s if someone else is speaking and they’re usually an idiot.

It’s not a mental health condition but more of a marble condition.  Somehow those perfect words come out through the wrong side of your body and you appear as a 3 letter word instead. Take some comfort in knowing that it happens to us all sometime, somewhere and maybe that you can be grateful it didn’t occur when you were most famous.  Someone else speaking from your mouth a condition we all have to go through let’s just hope they leave from the back entrance and don’t come back anytime soon.

Grow your own tree. Make sure it’s roots are based on the foundations and principles you hold dear.  Yet allow your branches to explore the world and it’s richness thereof.  Don’t be afraid to allow your colors to shine for if you keep your roots well watered they’ll appear green again in no time.  A passing wind or storm might leave you feeling cold and alone at times but if that foundation holds true you will see a rainbow in the horizon.  Grow your tree and allow it to explore the world without truly leaving home.

Can we all agree to hate, if we can I would put Dylan Roof on that list.  This despicable individual who shot up innocent people at a Church after spending time with them, all because their color of their skin was a different shade then his, deserves nothing less then death.  I understand the Christian perspective of forgiveness (although I’m Jewish) but let him seek it at his last meal.   Most of the time I preach love and tolerance in my post but for Dylan Roof let’s start with a little more hate.

When they told me I was to be honored by the Town of Ramapo  I was to say a bit shocked. WHO was I do to deserve such an award and then I thought it’s a small town so maybe it’s easy to impress. Yet when I saw the other recipients a young lady (in heart) who started the 1st Holocaust Museum in the country and an individual who puts their mind, body and soul out their as an EMS worker to save life’s (among the other recipients) I said “WHAT”  you’ve got to be  kidding?

Yes I’ve done a good amount of volunteer work for my Shul and community at large coming up with out of the box ideas that have have helped the community  but WHERE was I this worthy. WHEN & WHY was I considered to be in such company of these great men and woman.  I’m not sure HOW I truly got to be on such a stage but can tell you I’ll work even harder to try and prove to myself that I’m some what worthy of such a honor. Thank you for this great honor which I truly cherish even if I still wonder who?
