Today I afflicted myself in a way that I had never done before. For today was Yom Kippur a day when I normally fasted for a bit over 24 hours but this time I took it a step further. I restricted myself from you! Those who would normally read my daily brilliant and not so brilliant blog piece read absolutely nothing at all. For some that was a blessing in it self but hopeful only a few. It actually took more will power to give up writing for a day to you then any item I could have consumed. Yet I realize that this ability is not due to the fingers that press my keyboard but the hand of G-D that allows this simple mind and fingers to get my point across. I thank G-D that this has occurred for so many years and pray it will continue for many, many more.
