How many rooms do you use in your 5 bedroom house? Do you really drive your 8 cars on a regular basis? When was the last time you actually looked at your artwork(s)? Obviously those with means can buy more then those that don’t but how much more do they waste? In the United States even those in the lower income bracket can waste monies (newest Sneakers, Tattoos never scene etc) but with other countries every penny can count toward survival. It is not that those with wealth want to waste it’s just easier to do with the marketing campaigns that appeal toward their bank account and keeping up with the Trumps is heard way too loud.
Just a note though waste from the wealthy helps us all whether it means buying an extra car which keeps the auto business running or fixing up that 5th room with skilled labor, wealthy waste produces jobs. It also produces good used products which many others can afford when they realize their tired of some of their “slightly used equipment”. Therefore in the end waste is good for those who can afford to do so and the many more who end up with jobs and great items at discount prices.
