You’re not married and not even engaged so I don’t understand why my 3rd option makes some people so mad. If you’re in a committed relationship that isn’t on any paper and have some difficult moments that either will tear you apart or keep you together looking at different walls, then why not consider a combination plan instead. You agree to continue see each other but also see other people. This way you can determine whether this relationship is truly best for you or another would be better without the ice cold split a break up results in or the endless opposite walls. Either way it works with this plan you know that you didn’t make a mistake by not giving it time to heal or peel away slowly.
