Faith Vacation 1  Faith Vacation 2

When someone is on vacation they usually want to take a break from the norm. They want to slow down the pace that life has put them on and gather an actual thought or two.  A faith vacation enables you to break away from the rigidity you might feel when others are around you observing your faith and find the key points that touch your heart and soul in your own unique way.  It could be taking that extra long stroll to observe all G-D’s created or watching that sunset a miracle you’ve ignored for too long.  Maybe it’s just loosening up on a rule or two that might have been important to your congregation but never hit your heart or soul.  Faith Vacations a chance for you to find your unique path to G-D.

FOOTNOTE-This concept came from a sermon Rabbi Elchanan Weinbach of Congregation Shaarey Israel.
