If you want to win a Filbuster put a D in front of your name and the R’s will run to your attention. Senator Chris Murphy ample showcased that talent as he got the Republican to run to vote on gun restriction bills, which will only help the same terrorist we are “trying to stop”. For when restriction on self defense tools are made only the criminals and evil doer’s (who don’t care about violating laws) will have more means to perpetrate harm on the innocent. Yet the Republican’s will cave in to these votes because they “feel good” and are scared to stand on principal unlike their Democratic opponents. All we have to do is look to France which has some of the toughest gun restrictions in the world and suffered from a terrorist gun massacre and Israel where to armed bystanders took down a terrorist to see how silly these laws are. If that wasn’t enough all they have to do is look at the Islamic Terrorist, Mateen who worked as a security guard for Homeland Security to realize how incompetent Washington government restrictions work. The Republican’s too often cave to their knees when a Filibuster is used against them for the legs the Democrats have behind them, while Democrats and the media elite stand strong against a Republican Filibuster know matter what it contains. Until the R’s learn to be a bit more rebellious I fear that the Democratic Filibuster will continue to make them run into ruin.
