We all have those dog days when we feel we’re not accomplishing what we should be but those with 4 legs and a tail see it a whole lot differently. For even a few moments with you makes their entire day. Let alone if you decided to play ball with them, take them for a walk or give them an extra pet it’s just whipped cream on their cake.  If you doubt this sit down for a few moments and then  suddenly get up your dog will have incredible energy as if they took a shot of Espresso.  So if you can’t change the world today make their day instead by spending a few more useless minutes with your dogs.  . They may turn out to be  the most productive moments you have the entire day and I’ll guarantee you a wagged tail or a few extra lips (not from me) but your four legged friend. It’s true that sometimes they’ll drive you crazy but a little craziness never hurt anyone and they might be better drivers then you think.

It is important to have a strong leader ,who has a clear path that he wants to achieve and Donald Trump definitely has those leadership skills but having those skills in business is different then in the White House. For in the business world Donald Trump can fire an insubordinate that is not achieving his goals but in Washington he has to deal with 535 different leaders that can’t be fired and that doesn’t include the judicial branch. Many of those who desire a strong almost “aristocratic leader” can see that in Mr. Trumps magnificent architecture which dots our grand cities but do we want that authority in the White House?  If Mr. Trump is to gain the keys to the White House he should realize that there are many different doors to control then any business he’s operated and in this case he can’t redesign it alone.

When it appears that all the deals are being made from the inside to benefit those political elite against the public will, an outsider appears very attractive. Donald Trump seems to be such an outsider, who won’t be influenced by monies to make deals that he considers bad for the American public because he doesn’t need this cash flow.  Yet I believe it’s important to look at the whole pie (see below) of what  Donald truly could bring to the table. Is there a piece I’m missing?

ALLIES- Those who have served in government already have well established allies that can make sure bills move through Congress faster then they normally could and with the small print easily read.  Developing such allies from the outside could work but might be take more time then one thinks.

ENEMIES- People who have served in government might have in depth knowledge of who to avoid because sometimes politicians appear nice from the outside but that is only to snap on you from the inside. An outsider can hire an individual (s) who has this experience but then they are reliant on their knowledge and skills to get it done.

THE PIE- It might appear easy to make but seeing a pie is not making a pie and running a government has more intricate pieces then making a pie or even constructing a building.  Of course hiring individuals with these skills will help but would you trust a plumber to build a sky scraper from day one?

I’m a right wing tea party conservative and am elated with the possibility that Michael Bloomberg is considering running for President! This move would most likely assure that the G.O.P. will be in the White House no matter who they put up. Michael Bloomberg’s nanny state goes against the very grain that is the fiber of an independent self reliant American spirit and with left leaning Democratic candidate they will be plenty of space for someone from the right to take the majority of the votes. Just the thought that Michael Bloomberg could get in the White House should motivate those in the right to get out and vote even if the person was only 85% pure.  Therefore run Bloomberg ! Run!

I believe it’s time to explore the Donald Trump phenomenon from a more intellectually point of view.  To understand why this had occurred in our political landscape and what could be the effects for his Presidency whatever your knee jerk reaction to his candidacy has been.  Let’s start with that phrase “knee jerk” where I believe we can say whatever your position on this man is that he is a model for this phrase.  For many (including me)  it’s quite refreshing to hear someone speak without fear that his remarks might offend others.  How many of us are held back in our life’s from living this way whether it is fear of  offending the boss, colleagues, a wife or friend’s?  We can sometimes walk on a balancing beam trying to chose just the right words at the right time or even feel we have to hide our thoughts to bring peace. Just like going to a boxing machine we live through Donald’s Trump verbal punches as if we were the one throwing the punch.  How would a Trump Presidency of total openness effect his skill as a leader here are just a few thoughts to consider.

FEAR- Those that speak boldly are usually feared by others. This could be helpful in dealing with enemies and also inspiring friends but fear also can inspire extremist elements who feel their voices are shouted out.

HOPE- Bold proposals such as “Making this Nation Great Again” and “Building a Fence to Protect Us” inspire hope for those who believe their government doesn’t act yet if Donald Trump’s proposals don’t come to bear fruit quickly then that balloon will pop (not deflate) leaving his supporters only holding broken rubber.

WORKING WITH SUPPORTERS- Donald Trump tends to strong emotions for his supporters and detractors which he states openly and loudly.  This will make it difficult for a Trump Administration to hear from opposition that has good points on policy but is not his ally.  Will this cause a divided country to divide further down the lines not red and blue but Trump and Anti-Trump?
