I believe it’s very generous that Mark Zuckerberg will be giving away 99 % of his shares to his company since his arrival of his daughter but let’s consider the following points (below) as well.
(1) This will be done over the course of the couples life – (A great tax deduction for the families life)
(2) Great Public Relations move without even dipping into their pockets.
(3) It’s estimated to be 45 billion dollars can you imagine spending that amount of money in many lifetimes?
(4) This is an incredible power move as he will decide who to save and who to ignore.
(5) There daughter will still be left with a billion or so in the will. Not a bad inheritance.
