Too many  college campuses such as Ithaca have turned into bastions for liberal bullies who act as if every word is “hurtful” accept those they use.  Instead of being places of higher learning where everything is discussed in a respectful way the P.C police are taking control and the students are running amok.  They are so hurt with words of others that the are willing to walk out of classes that cost their parents $1000 of dollars.  To make matters worse student demonstrations in the past were fights over war and peace or segregation and integration but today it’s over hurtful words.  It’s time that the administration and their parents stand up to such bullying tactics and say that enough is enough. If you can’t tolerate free speech (even if it’s hurtful) here then there are college where the cigars are much better and the President has opened up travel to that is awaiting your arrival.

After having my blog shut down because justhost.com forgot it’s name and watching as one day appeared to fall into another I’ve decided to look for my “SPUNK”.  That little extra energy that makes an ordinary day appear extraordinary. My spunk covers up those negative cynical thoughts that make the cup 1/2 empty and adds extra water. I think writing this blog is bringing some of it back to the surface as the rain from outside doesn’t stop me from walking forward but allows me to grow brighter and better today!

It is not who you get along with the best but  who might annoy you the least that  truly matters. Let’s face it eventually even ice will melt in water and even the closest of friends will find things that cause painful divisions. It could be someone who speaks too little or too much that pulls our annoying buttons. Maybe it’s a political discussion that’s gone too far or even the way a person unfolds the toilet paper that makes those cracks appear.  Yet we bury those annoyances for those that are closest to us and find a brighter side that makes them disappear in an instant.

Today I’m back alive!  Not literally but through my a deeper sense of me. When my blog died today I felt that a part of me was gone but could it come back to life. It was on life support but then just like a breath of Oxygen it suddenly came back to life and with that I’m back and G-D willing better then ever!
