Christie Brinkley is known as one of the most beautiful woman for the ages (at least my ages) but today what I heard spoken from her mouth was just as beautiful or at least close to it. For when she was going through a public, ugly divorce she was able to separate from the pain caused to her and her family by leaving it behind. When everything was erupting around her she and her children escaped west for a few weeks and turned off all the distraction. They in turn found a deeper meaning to their lives then the media would have allowed if they trapped themselves in. In basically her own words (I heard it during the Howard Stern show) she said if you don’t hear it then it doesn’t exist. During our own difficult periods in our life may we follow such wise advise and escape with our loved ones to a better place (at least for the time being) because if we don’t hear the garbage maybe it will be thrown in the trash where it belongs. Billy Joel you really messed up.
