I received my punishment though this episode of Gotham was just okay and the time I turned on the Met’s game they had come back 6-3 which I missed. It is my first major sin as a post season Met’s fan but tonight is the Democratic Presidential Debate and although I’m not rooting for anyone on this team my curiosity might force me to watch a bit. TOUGHEST QUESTION OF THE DAY– Hot teacher or Hot Nurse?
The deeper question is it better to learn something new or feel much better? According to Google search it appears most people want to feel better but I believe an education is something we all could use. Maybe if you went to class early and then had a check up then you could have the best of both worlds if so I’m sure the nurse could prescribe you pills to have the energy to perform both tasks. Oh the difficult decisions one must make in their imaginary world.
It would be great if there was a “Conservative United Way” that would insure that the monies we donate help people help themselves, support our values, and make sure none of the funds go to opponents of our philosophy. 75 % would go to those charities while 25 % would go to individuals and organizations that support the values we uphold. Here (below) are some examples of what would occur.
(1) Charities that give an individual a fishing pole and teach them to fish rather then give them a fish would be on the top of our list.
(2) Organizations that give even a penny to pro-abortion groups, public labor unions, and anti-Judeo-Christian values would be off our list.
(3) Foundations that support teaching the values of basic constitutional freedom, governmental constraints and individual independence would be on our list.
It’s great that Columbus and other navigators helped to find America for the Europeans but due we really need a full day off to celebrate? Other then a Columbus Day Sale and a few people walking down a parade route how are you supposed to celebrate this holiday anyway? Maybe I’ll grab an extra slice of Pizza or a Calzone forget about it. On a different note I know that many Native American’s don’t believe this holiday is worthy of a celebration because they feel that we “invaded their land” but would those individuals still want to be living in Teepee’s and wearing those moccasins especially in the winter. We can argue about the past but it’s best we appreciate where we are today having another 3 day weekend and not knowing what to do with the time.
