Art VS Image

MAYBE THIS VERSION DIDN’T GET SPONSORSHIP

It maybe the greatest piece of art but without the right image and sponsors behind them only the artist may see it.  A sponsor will enable that piece of art whether it be in the form of music, film, theatrical etc to be seen by others because the upfront cost can be too much for the artist alone to bear.  If an artist can receive additional sponsors they can reach a larger audience by marketing their project to larger audience.

The truth is the art might not actually move the sponsor to support such a project but instead the artist themselves. Does the artist create the “right image” for a sponsor to fund such a project? Is the artist able to communicate a message that gives a financial incentive for such a sponsor to get involved or does that artist have pockets of good friends and family that will help them no matter what? Is the artist outgoing and warm or can they present an exclusive feeling to the art which can get a sponsor to release his/her cash flow? Finally does the artist have the closing argument to have the sponsor relinquish these monies or is the sponsor waiting to be asked?  I wonder how many great pieces of art stand alone because the artist truly didn’t have the sales techniques needed to present it to the world?
