For a business to grow and continue to be successful it must not be dependent on it’s employees whim on when and if to show up for work. Therefore I system must be set up that all the employees understand to deal with tardiness and absenteeism.  In order for this system to work their needs to be an ample amount of part-time employees that can fill into positions where others have been delinquent in.  For example Tom has been warned that three unwarranted absents will result in his termination when the third one occurs Leslie takes his position.   Leslie has been previously trained to do not only Tom’s work but other work if a full position does open up.  Part-Time workers will make full time workers think twice about not only whether they should show up but the performance they do on a regular basis.
