We all know about the runner that loses a race in a less then a second but how many times have we’ve been saved by a mere second? The news reports on those that have missed their flight; only to find that the plane they were supposed to be on crashed. We start out a little late for work, then traffic ensues from a car accident or a telephone line falling down on a road that if we had been on time would have hit us.
