I will be having a “Time Out” from the rapid pace of this blog because of exciting script work that I’m performing for Joseph Bechor. Without getting myself in to much trouble let’s just say it takes the “Zombie” genre in a whole new direction. Please note  G-D willing I still plan on writing one new blog every other day till my work with Bechor is complete.

A Permanent “Special House Panel”

There needs to be a permanent “Special House & Senate Panel” that continues to investigate any abuse of power from the Executive and/or Judicial branch. This panel should be able to retain records from any other house committee, Executive branch documents, and or Judicial branch and have full subpoena powers. The panel should be permanent to insure it’s bipartisan and that it is ready for action as soon as events warrant it.  The panel could also advise the other branches of government before an action is taken to insure that this branch doesn’t overreach in actions it might take. Finally this panel should be able to hire an Independent Counsel to further investigate and/0r prosecute those that might have broken the law.  In the end this panel will insure that all branches of government respect their power under the Constitution and not abuse it.

Memorial Day -Take A Moment

While you’re enjoying this holiday with friends and family please take a moment to remember our bravest that gave their lives so we could be here today, with the freedoms we often take for granted.  This could be done in many different ways but here’s a few that might be helpful.

(1) Go to a “Memorial Day Parade”

(2) Discuss with your loved one some of the battles that led to our freedom and kept us free.

(3) Visit a Senior Citizen Home or a Nursing Home and listen to those veterans tell stories of their sacrifice and their friends that never made it home.

(4) Watch a movie like “Saving Private Ryan” with family and friends so you can emotionally understand the sacrifice that others have made for our freedom.

(5) Go out of your way to thank a Veteran.

(6) Give monies to a charity that helps support those who have fought and/or helps the families of those who have died in battle.

(7) Wear a Patriotic shirt or display your flag in your community.

(8) Thank G-D for the freedom you and your family enjoy and ask for peace for those families that have lost loved ones defending this freedom.

Isolation brings greater danger

After two very difficult wars there is dangerous trend occurring in America toward a more isolation policy. Yet we must not forget what history has shown us that when good pulls backs away evil pulls in and that evil doesn’t sit and await but expands, till it becomes a much more dangerous threat, then if intervention took place in the first place. These examples can be seen throughout history whether it be  at the 2 World Wars or 911, we must not forget our roles.

At the same time the United States can’t afford to be the world’s policeman whether it be through the financial burden or the blood of our most precious citizens. So  as we reflect on those that died fighting for our freedom during this Memorial Day how do we insure their deaths not be in vain yet limit our future sacrifices.  Here is a way we can do this (see below).

(1) Spread throughout the world the importance of a strong constitution which protects the freedoms of the minority and majority, limits government power and insures a more peaceful future in these countries.  This can be done openly or clandestinely if need be.

(2) Support those who live in a totalitarian state who are willing to fight for the values of constitutional freedom with monies and arms if necessary.   Train them clandestinely so that a smooth transaction can occur with as little fatalities as possible.

(3) Give limited resources to those who have overthrown such regions so that they can independently form there own democracy based on the values of that society. Whether that be through new import export agreements, friendly military basis, educational support or even military assistance.  They will rebuild but we can bring the lumber.

(4) Insure all military actions have clear objectives which don’t include “nation building” and are contemplated with the least harm to our soldiers as one of the key elements. They also should have a time table not know to the public to achieve such goals and have back-up plans in place if those goals are not met.

(5) Image must not be as important as a quick and decisive military victory in any action that we take.

Any Conscious?

evil

We all make mistakes that we have to live with and of course with repentance and  good deeds most can be forgiven but some are behind the pail.  I’m not speaking about the cold hearted  killer or rapist but people that could be in our neighborhood.  A Police Chief, A Boy Scout Leader and a Rabbi were accused of child pornography. People who were held up as outstanding leaders in our community were actually some of the most heinous people there. It was like they had two very twisted minds.

If these accusations are true how could such people live with themselves let alone society? Where in their concept of conscious did they find their actions acceptable? How does the mind dwell in such despicable acts? In most blogs I have answers but in this I’m completely perplexed. I don’t even know how to stop such evil all I know is that those who perpetrated such actions must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and a little street justice wouldn’t hurt as well.

YOUR COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED.

one million

If you were given $1,000,000 that you couldn’t invest in a market or business what would you do with it?

My list is quite practical with a few exceptions (below) but if your in the donation business I’m willing to negotiate.

(1) I would pay off my mortgage

(2) My children’s school tuition would be paid in advance.

(3) My house would get some needed repairs.

(4) The greatest publicist would be hired to promote this blog and the ideas on it.

(5)  Charities that are truly successful in helping the poor and disadvantages would be receiving a well deserved donation within the parameters of keeping up these works.

(6) My hair would be cut on a regular basis

(7) I would have an awesome 50 birthday party in which you were invited. It might not be quite so awesome depending on the monies I had left but cheese and crackers are delicious.
