Would the infirm spend less time in recovery if they had a dog to pet or walk? I believe the answer is yes and we would be doing 2 mitzvah’s we would make people’s stay in the hospital more enjoyable and insuring that less dogs are put down in shelters because now they are helping the in-firmed.
