Today is International Dope Day for the substance and what trying to get a quick fix brought upon us. For smoking that green stuff can have us trying to escape the world we live in as the world crumbles within.  Today is also Hitler’s birthday one of the most evil men ever lived who others shouldn’t have allowed to fix a painting let alone a country. When Hitler was elected to power the people of Germany appeared to be on this stuff as well as they got the high of his great vision for the fatherland while not looking deeper at the hideous, evil vision that would take them there.  Marijuana might give you a high but the damage it does to your inside especially to those who heil it daily can’t be overstated.  Parania, laziness, and just plain continual escape from reality are just of the some problems this green stuff can cause.  On 4/20 let us remember to look deeper then try to find a quick fix to problems that can just hurt ourselves or kill millions upon millions of innocent people.

Barbara Bush was one of a kind and that’s why we as a nation loved her. She had her own way of looking at things including the way she looked. This proud woman was not afraid to stay gray and say what she really felt even if it ruffled a few feathers.  Yet most importantly she was a woman who kept her family together through good and difficult times. RIP Barbara this nation will miss your strength and character as not only a fabulous first lady but a wonderful person.

Sometimes we live in “what if’s” instead of actually living.  We worry too much about our next step that we forget to walk ahead.  Yes, it is true we might fall but it is better to have fallen then to have stood still for at least you have somewhere else to go.  What if’s can stop you being with the person that you could love as said better then I can by this following song below. Which begs the question “What If” they thought too much about this song we probably would never have heard it today.

It was a completely gutsy and even rebellious move to introduce the Fig Newton to the marketplace. Imagine the day this brilliant person came out with this idea of putting Figs in cookies and the reaction “FIGS IN COOKIES”?!!.  Who would think anyone would want this as a dessert treat?  Yet this person believed in this enough to introduce it to the marketplace and for over a 100 years we have been delighted with their guts.

There are people who want to see you hurt so that their “principles” can win. They root against the President’s tax cuts having a positive effect on your life and hope to demoralize people enough with the President that they become the only game in town. If it takes “fake outrage”, “scandals” or even losses in our nations image they are rooting against us.  They do their best to stop the President’s nominee’s for office even if it causes our government to not work perform adequately for the people who have put them in power.  I can not honestly say that in the past some didn’t reside in my Elephant party but not to the degree that this resistance has acted.   I also appreciate rooting for your ideology to win but not at the point of others suffering.  When it comes to election time I hope that you will vote for people who want you to win even if they philosophy loses.

FOOTNOTE- The only exception I see to this rule is if  the other side wins there will be serious physical injury/death to a group of citizens born or unborn.

You will keep going until you’ve reached Green and it can change everyday. For some days just being able to get up and smell a rose is enough while other days will require you to plant the whole garden.  Many will see it rise enough from 9ish to maybe 5  while others have a meter that needs to work until the midnight candles have long been extinguished.  Their meter might be dependent on power, fame, fortune, self worth or just being able to take another breath on their own.  Whatever your meter level is G-D willing you will run past it way before the day is through and help others get to Green as well.
