Philosophy

As soon as you leave your house you are representing. For whoever you meet will make a per-judgement of your  ethnicity, religion, family or sex by the way you act toward them, whether they know it or not.  If you’re in a bad mood then that will reflect poorly on the groups that you belong to and if you are in a good mood well then the opposite could be true.  I know we all want to be judged as individuals but the truth is your individuality is not all that is judged when that door to the outside world opens.

I had planned in my mind a conversation that included all Y’s and spoke in a warm tone but all they heard were harsh X’s.  For from the moment my mouth opened their perception of what I was going to say was already made up and they would only hear the words that went with that perception even if they weren’t actually said. If this happens way to often in your life maybe the question should start such discussion. For when you know where someone is coming from then maybe you can lead them down a different path or at least know your path is somewhere they can’t go for now. I’m going to try that approach next time even if it requires more listening and empathy then actually talking.

Of all the controversial statements that Donald Trump has stated this one has to be the tamest.  The truth is if we were the only one stopped on a crowded highway driving at the same speed, our first inclination probably would be why did that ”    ” officer stop me (fill in the blank).  Donald Trump feels as if he is being tried by a Kangaroo Court and the only reason this is occurring is because this judge doesn’t agree with his position on building a wall.  Of course Donald Trump shouldn’t have made this about the judge’s ethnicity  but his liberal views yet can we honestly say that ethnicity might not have played a role in the judges decision.   We face justice that too often peeks through there blindfold of justice to help their friends and hurt their enemies whether it be based on political viewpoints, payouts or even ethnicity. Even though many might condemn what Trump said I wonder if we were in the same situation what we would have thought so differently?

The next Taboo to crumble will of course first start in Hollywierd where some starlet will try to grab the media attention as she announces that she is marrying 2 husbands.  It will shock the world for a day or 2 and then the media will start a narrative of why we shouldn’t judge as it moves society to acceptance or ostracize.  We can judge when this new Taboo will start to crumble as we see the court move to bring “liberty to the potty” all across our nation.  For freedom will no longer mean do as you want but accept it all even if it goes against the values you hold dear.

There are many advantages for the adults who have never grown up to take on their choices and responsibilities. For one thing being led doesn’t require you to make a decision and as such you are not responsible of what action might occur. If the action doesn’t work out you can just complain that if you were in charge everything would have been just fine without lifting up a paw. On the other hand if everything works out well or well enough you can enjoy playing with your toys until the leader decides it’s enough.  Adult Children have been around as long as there have been adults and many a dictator at work or in society continues to thrive when freedom is just behind the door.  Not every adult is meant to be a leader but ever adult should try to grow up from dependency one paw print at at time.

The bold music and colors of Prince have been killed by one word “Fentanyl”.  A drug more potent then Heroin and just as deadly if used incorrectly. How do we insure that such a drug is only used when it’s just needed and in it’s proper amount before it spells disaster or even death?  We must first insure that those who are prescribed this drug have a loved one control the medicine usage, know the problems that can occur when taking such medicines and be able to seek immediate treatment for any abuse that could occur even against their will.   May the passing of Prince bring bold legislation so that this can occur and we will hear the music of loved ones way past their dosage.

In the good old days where everything was all natural we probably would be part of that ground already. For when everything was close to 100% all natural our life expectancy was half of what it is today or if you’re getting close to 40 in the 1800’s you better forget the new car and look for a casket instead.  They might have taken a breath of that clean fresh air, eaten the all natural carrots and steered away from any evil electronic device but that still put them closer to the Golden Gate sooner then we are experiencing today.  At times I’ve fallen at whim to the old natural crowd but maybe a few more chemicals isn’t so bad after all unless you want to be laying down in the natural earth a whole lot earlier.
