Paris Islam Vs Islamist

terrorist Paris

99 % or more of those that practice the Islamic faith are peace loving people but the 1 % have hijacked the religion and the majority must fight back.  Please note 1 % of a billion is still 1,000,000 people and they are spread out in various countries around the world so their significance can’t be underrated .  This 1 % intimidates the 99 % with brutal and sadistic means that even the bravest can cringe at.  Yet strength can be found in numbers and through continuous gatherings. Here are just a few ways (below) to get the ball rolling so Islam can destroy the Islamist that give their beautiful faith a bad name.

(1) GLOBAL RALLY AGAINST TERRORISM-  From every country around the world a rally should occur with monies going to the victims of these hideous attacks. This rally would be called on by responsible leaders in the Muslim world.

(2) OPEN CONTINUOUS INTERFAITH DISCUSSIONS- Let’s put everything on the table and see how we can stop these acts of hate before they begin. These discussions should also lead to different projects that these groups can work on together.

(3) ISLAM ANTITERRORIST TASK FORCE- The purpose is to have human Intel in terrorist organization and groups so as to prevent any terrorist acts before they occur. This will  show that Islam as a whole won’t accept these despicable acts  called in their name.

(4) FAITH OF HEART NOT SWORD- Islamic leaders need to state that their faith can only be attained and held by the individual who accepts it through their heart not at the point of the sword. That Islam must be about trying to perfect thyself and not about being a judge and juror of others.

Dreams

dreams

There are very few dreams that I can remember except for some nightmares such as dropping from a bridge yet dreams play such a significant force in prophetic individuals from the bible. Jacob’s dream of angels climbing a ladder is one such dream.  This dream had such a great impact on his life I wonder if we had such a dream would it impact us as well?  I guess if we heard G-D speaking to us in our dream it would hold a deeper thought then any other dream yet if it was a dream how would we know it was real or actually belief that it’s context was prophetic?  It must be that these individuals who had such dreams had a greater insight into the truth then we do today. That they could see the world conscious and unconscious with a deeper understanding because they weren’t clouded by the material world as we currently are. May G-D grant us a similar ability so when the message is brought to us we can hear it whether in our dreams or in our conscious life.

If you heard….

hearing the voice

If you heard the voice would you believe or would you commit? I guess it depends what the voice said and even how it was heard? For that voice could be misunderstood as being the one when it was a Demon or even a psychotic episode. How could you know if you were the only one who heard and would you dare ask others if they ears, minds and souls were listening as well?  Would you respond to the voice or be too afraid to comment. Maybe it all depends not only what is said and how it is said but also how it makes you be. If this voice makes you a better person in your life and the life of others then listening /following should be the path that you take but if that voice does the opposite then it’s best to close those ears and seek professional help.

Leaving?

leaving 3

Can you imagine leaving your family and friends at a young age and starting a new life with someone you never met?  Let us say that this stranger enticed you with jewels but also a mission of faith would you follow? Would our parents agree to let leave even if you took a friend or two along the way? Probably not in today’s times but Rebecca the future wife of Issac took such a journey and because of this wondrous journey she became the matriarch to a great family of faith. For most of us such a trip appears to treacherous but if we’re stuck in one place in our life maybe it’s time we consider such a move if we see similar signs.

Not Enough- BASIC JUDAISM

lost soul 1   lost soul 2

In today’s secular world too many souls don’t know how to fly and their beauty is hidden from themselves and the world. Basic Judaism doesn’t accept this principle and therefore beliefs the basic foundations of faith should be heard by all who have the ability to listen. Lot was pulled away from evil by Angels and we should be willing to do so for our fellow man whether they be people of the faith or those who feel lost and confused. When we ignore those because they have a different foundation then ours it can also bite us back as they fill that empty space with a philosophy that is bad for them and us as well. G-D has created every soul and we should try to reach out and help those in need with material as well as spiritual charity.

Leaving

leaving 2

There are times to stay and there are times to leave. The Torah/Bible points to many examples of the later whether it be Adam being kicked out of the Garden of Eden, Noah building an ark to leave his civilization, or Abraham leaving his family to start a new there are times when it’s best for us to pick up our backs and vacate.  How to decide the difference between being loyal and leaving is the question?  For those who stay to long maybe missing an opportunity for true peace, prosperity and happiness but those that leave at the wrong time may forsake those goals when they were right around the corner instead of down the next block.

The key is to make sure you take the time to put out feelers and test the water before you try to cross the ocean.  If we  truly listen with our heart, mind and soul G-D will provide the clock with signs that will tell us when and if we should fully get wet.  I hope you & I will be listening carefully to make sure that boat hasn’t left sure already or if this is truly our stop.

Pray for ” Bright Day”

Bright Day

I have a simple prayer for us all today that G-D gives us a bright day. A day when the clouds that hide the greatness we’ve been given dissipate. This day should give us the light to turn towards, instead of a darkness that appears as tasty as an apple but is surrounded with the bite of snake.  May the brightness of the day give us a peace of mind to enjoy the simple pleasure that too often are never smelled. A simple “bright day” maybe all we need to regain that truth and happiness that sometimes we cover in our own clouds of despair and worry.

Equality & The Bible

Adam & Eve

Those who take the bible seriously must understand that man and woman are equal in the eye’s of G-D. For G-D made woman out of the same body as a man not from some other worldly creature.  Furthermore even though man and woman are made from the same body it is from different parts which have different purposes that allow each to have their own strengths and weaknesses. We also can conclude that this is of prime purpose to G-D because it is the first mention of man and woman.  It is when these two unique bodies come together that G-D allows them to perfect the word that has been created for them to enjoy and take care of.

Simchat Torah

Simchat Torah is one of the most joyous holidays in the Jewish Calendars. It marks the end of the annually reading of the Torah and the beginning of a new cycle. This holiday is full of the good aspects that we love from these occasions including dancing with the ultimate partner (the Torah) the you can’t step on it’s feet, drinking a bit and finally  eating.  It also gives everyone a chance to hold the holy book while others rejoice around you.  Simchat Torah a time of the year it’s extra fun to be a Jew.

Basic Judaism- Synagogue

mechitza

One of the biggest difference between the more traditional Jewish person and the less traditional is the “Mechitza” which separates women from men. Most that are Orthodox will not become a member of a Synagogue that doesn’t have this separation while those who are less traditional will not become a member of a Synagogue that has it.  “Basic Judaism” believes all should be able to pray at one place therefore all sides must get what they need. A Mechitza should be placed for those that are more traditional in one section of the Synagogue while mixed seating in another section. This should be done in such a way that everyone’s view of what is going on can be easily seen. There also must be someone who keeps people informed of the what is occurring for those who are not as custom to the service and might otherwise feel intimated to speak up.  Basic Judaism believes in observing the traditional service at the Synagogue but the flexibility to allow a more concise service which has give an take for those who are on different paths to the truth but keep the basic faith.
