Catching Fire continued it’s reign on the top grossing film of this weekend with “Frozen” a close second (see results below). It was another record though for Thanksgiving sales.

As we mourn the untimely death of Paul Walker(one of the stars of “Fast & Furious”) it’s hard not to think of the irony of his death. He played a character who lived fast and on the edge and you have to wonder whether that role effected him in his real life. Is it possible that he started to believe that like his movie character he was indestructible? I believe sometimes when people are put on a pedestals they sometimes forget that it takes only one step to fall. We lost a huge talent last night but let’s not let his death be in vain instead we should realize the precious gift called life is fragile. We should not live like we are a piece of fragile glass but maybe that we are enclosed in this glass and if we don’t take care it will break.
May G-D grant Mr. Walkers family peace during this difficult time knowing that he is in a better place.
I was shocked to find that my stock purchase of “Lionsgate” fell and this was after “Catching Fire” had the sixth biggest weekend of all-time. I heard of hyping expectations but I believe this is a bit ridiculous and I found that I’m not the only one (see link below). The stock has risen today and I expect it will continue as the results from this movie continue to grow.
Comedian Jay Leggett dies at 50, during a hunting trip. It appears from heart related problems.
A great movie deserves great results and this week I’m happy to report both occurred.
I have to tell the truth on Tuesday I have two other woman in my life other then my wife. Each of the woman give me a 1/2 hour of pleasure because their hysterical with quick punch lines. I’m sorry but they really make me laugh without getting too deep. These two woman are Zooey Dechanel and Mindy Kaling. I’m glad to get that off my chest (hey what were you thinking). The time we spend together is 9-10 with “The New Girl” and “The Mandy Project”. It’s great to have these ladies in my life because I don’t have to worry about buying them dinner and can turn them off after a 1/2 hour. Now that I got that off my chest can I find another funny woman for Friday night. I hope this doesn’t hurt my chances to run for Toronto Mayor.
What makes an individual with such great talent act in such a self-destructive behavior? Or is that behavior something we only perceive as self-destructive yet he feels is quite rewarding? Where does it come from? Please click below for an interesting perspective.
