Please watch the first episode of “Kevin Probably Saves the World”.  This show will be the best 43 minutes you spend watching a heart felt comedy on the boob tube in years. It will also help you take your own path toward faith and funny.  Yet be warned a few tissues are required before the 43 minutes are up for it really knows how to pull at those beating strings.  I haven’t watched the other episodes but if they’re 1/2 as good as this one it might just take me to a whole different version of laughter and meaning that I’ve never watched before.

Faith must have it’s rules but when one breaks them should they be condemned and/or written off?   I believe their must be boundaries where one is taken out of the mainstream of the faith but still have a bumpier river to go upstream. For even the worst among us must have a way to some form of redemption even if it’s just a glance at the heaven’s above if they are to walk away from the hell they are creating.  G-D sets the rules in the good book but also might have a different chapter for those that truly repent which is many, many worlds above to climb.

I’m sorry my liberal friends but this one picture should have Senator Franken booted out of Washington and prosecuted for sexual assault and stupidity. Imagine someone is sleeping and you think taking this picture makes sense. For a comedian he really isn’t that funny.   Just because you put a D in front of your name instead of an R doesn’t mean you should be allowed to sexual assault another individual and be a complete moron. Mrs. Tweedon was generous enough Franken  apology only when there was no way he couldn’t get away with giving some other lame excuse.  While my liberal friends were planning to have Al Franken move into the White House I think they might plan to have him in the big house instead.

I didn’t want to believe Anthony Rapp accusation that Kevin Spacey made sexual advances to him when he was only 14 years old but then I remembered he is an actor and a phenomenal one which know one could deny. So I’ve fallen for his roles as far back in  “Idolmaker”,   “House of Cards” etc etc and did not look into the man behind the mask. “Kevin Spacey” does not say that he is innocent of these charges but that he doesn’t recall because he might have been drunk. That is no excuse for when you drink you lose a few boundaries but don’t step in areas you don’t want to go.  His apology would not occur if he felt there wasn’t a wound that couldn’t be covered up.  The scary thing is this just the first shoe to drop and therefore Mr. Spacey’s best acting days might be far behind him or we might continue to look at the mask instead.

It’s nostalgia Friday with a song that somehow comes back to my heart. For even though some appear to be close they are truly so far away.

Harvey Weinstein has set up a  category 5 Hurricane in Hollywood that doesn’t appear to be dying down anytime soon.  This storm is hitting in all different places and there is no place any of the stars can hide. For it is being fed by the two biggest forces in news “sex” and “celebrity” and even if it is unwanted it still is titillating to the public.  When it finally subsides we will see the damage that has been done and whether “Hollywood” will ever look the same.  Harvey Weinstein is the storm that Hollywood created and now it is pulling them all apart.

Harvey Weinstein was fired for sexual harassment? Something isn’t adding up for he was already on a leave of absence unless there is another shoe to hit the door.  Don’t get me wrong if he’s guilty of the actions stated it is disgusting but this is his company so why would he allow himself to be kicked out the door?  Maybe he believes that his firing will create some sympathetic voices that will be heard when he try’s to revive his career from “therapy” on an Opray tour.  Either way the mystery is out not just for what actually happened but what will be written about years from now.
