One year ago tonight the prediction had my frown growing but as the results came in it truly turned upside down and I’ve been smiling since. It’s not that I agree with every action that the President has taken but it is a hell a lot better for our country then if the other person would have stepped in the White House. Sometimes I cringe at a remark or two from the President but at least I know it comes from someone with a good heart trying everyday to make this country great again and not someone looking to make themselves great instead.  Thank you America for proving that we truly can prove the predictors wrong and make our own decision and bringing this smile to my face.

Let’s face it today many in the G.O.P have their trunk down as the election didn’t go to well in our direction yet “Google” couldn’t be more delighted. With more stories on political victories then they’ve had in years.  Could it be that “Google” might have a bit more interest in Democratic victories then Republican, does an Elephant have a trunk? It’s obvious that they are not only reporting the news but rubbing in our faces but let not your trunk lie to the ground for we still control the House, Senate,White House and most of the state Governor seats.  You can’t win them all and before you know it Google will lower it’s political reporting again…. we hope.

Although 23 and Me can do a complete DNA test of who I am there are certain characteristics I’m sure they may not find. These are the building blocks that I believe will stay with me for as long as I reside on this earth.  They may not be easily detected under a microscope but they are one’s I believe will leave their own mark.

(1) LOYALTY – I’ve been tested on many battlefields of life and as long as we’re in the same squadron I’ll stay true to the core.

(2) FAITHFUL-  Even when I wasn’t sure which direction it would take I knew there was only one G-D who would take me their.

(3) PRO-LIFE– It might hurt me with some but life is truly too precious to waste whether unborn or those throwing it away.

(4) FUN/SILLY- Depending on your perspective I can’t take life so seriously and will often fall into the silly/fun side of it.

(5) CREATIVE- My box is a Triangle.

(6) CAPITALIST- I love to make $$ not just for the possession but for the ability to do good works for others as it relates to opportunities and charities.

(7) DEEP- I love and appreciate conversation or thoughts that challenge the standards thoughts of the day.

(8) EARNEST- I’m not afraid to get my hands or mind dirty (not too literally) to get things done.

(9) REBEL- Life can be so conventional to be conventional

(10) BUD- I love to have special times with family, friends and associates as we share the good times at the moment. 

Last night my dreams took me to a whole different place “Coffee World”. Where you pay one price and can make as many creative versions on this drink as you could dream of even one’s that would knock you out with a smile. For this place allowed you to make your own Alcoholic combinations of coffee as well as other unique takes on this hyper item and all at the low price of only $9.99. This dream got me so hyper I couldn’t go back to sleep. I just hope it put some coffee beans in my head for the rest of my waking day.

I’m back up to 5000 Facebook friends after some had drifted away and wonder who will be the first one to leave ME or will I leave someone instead? What words, statement or phrase will make someone decide that it’s too much to be friends with ME or will be the one who is so easily hurt?  Is it a game of chicken but instead friendship that will be on the line? For 5000 can’t last forever… or can it?

The match was falling apart on the tennis court when the opposing side made a controversial call and my partner walked off the court saying “I QUIT”.   The truth is unless Roger Federer was somehow going to replace one of us we were going to lose anyway so why not do it our own terms and without breaking anymore sweat. I followed this philosophy recently when I saw that a group I was forming  was dissipating in thin air and decided that I didn’t want to be the last person standing. The truth is sometimes it is truly better to quit especially when that fat lady starts humming her song.

It’s a Pencil and it works! This might seem like a simple statement but so is a Pencil for if you can see it’s sharpened it will write unlike it’s fancier cousin the pen. A matter of fact in an age of new technical achievements sometimes you press and pull the buttons but to no avail and when you try to figure what’s wrong you’re mind might need to be sharpened. Unlike a pencil that even one who is just beginning to attend school can see if it’s working and how to fix it when it goes wrong.  So as we gain more technical skills it’s good to know that the pencil will still be around erasing all the small mistakes we make in between the lines they draw so clearly.

I’m leaning to YES for the NY State Constitutional Convention for probably the silliest reason that I’ve ever taken a vote on. I feel that the swamp monsters control Albany and it’s time we try something NEW. I understand that everything new might not be bright and shiny but what is going on in Albany is the same rusty corruption we continue to see for generation after generation where nothing but increased taxes gets done.  So could a Yes vote hurt maybe but at least it’s worth a try for NY government needs a change.

Life is a crap shoot where sometimes your seven spells a winner and sometimes it doesn’t. Yet if you’re not at the table you’ll never know what you will roll or if this is your night. For we never know the time or date when we will be too cold to even be able to roll.   So analyze your odds and if you won’t lose the house maybe it’s worth the roll a roll that G-D willing will continue for the rest of your life.

I formally send you my apology because I’m sure you are writing some brilliant piece but I’m unable to read it. It is not that I don’t care but Facebook appears has decided to make it appear as such by denying me access to my wonderful friends until some password situation gets corrected.  Maybe it is my fault as well for passwords leave one’s mind as the wind blows through the air. But my friends I pledge to return to you as soon as that wind comes back into my mind.
