After digesting Pure 7 Chocolate I realize that somethings are better left separate and equal. Mixing Chocolate and Honey together just doesn’t work especially if you like Chocolate. Honey becomes too overpowering till the last moment when Chocolate conquers but that is too long a wait for this paradise taste. Honey is delicious alone and so is Chocolate but together let’s just say it’s not a match made in heaven more like hell.

On a previous blog piece I recommended only sharing your thoughts with who/whom you believe will help get the engine rolling not throw dirt in it but maybe it’s “when” you speak to such individuals that determines if their hands/minds are clean. For even those who are the most open minded can appear to be closing when it’s near closing time. If someone is busy, tired, restless maybe this time isn’t really right. When you catch an individual in just the right moment maybe even with the right dish in front of them and extra glass of wine then maybe they will be detoxified enough to listen. It is true some might need an extra glass to have that honest and free exchange of thoughts but time and our ideas might just be on their side as well when it’s truly the right time.
I predict that not in the too distant future you will hear reports on how utilizing plastic in cooking is dangerous to your health. Part of the cause will come from the extreme environmentalist who believe plastic is hurting our environment but part will be logically. For putting hot items in a plastic container only can loosen the plastic so it resides in the dish you will be eating. Of course it will get overblown to create concern in red solo cups and even plastic utensils. This is my health scare prediction for 2018, let’s hope I’m wrong and we won’t live in this fear but maybe an investment in paper is something to write about in another blog piece.
It’s honestly not “Top Secret” but if you tell the wrong people it could just explode. For without the positive or at least neutral feedback you might as well keep it “top secret”. One of the scripts that is being considered for a new film project was rejected by one of those bomb throwers. I was ready to toss it in the tunnel of lost ideas until a loved one gave me the courageous to speak about it to another. Now who knows you might be watching this idea (G-D willing) come to life in a year or 2. So remember although it might not be “top secret” present your ideas to only those who can share your vision for an idea is a terrible thing to keep hidden.
Before you check the other basic questions explore the “WHO” 1ST. For no matter what, where, when, how and why you plan to do something, without the right who you might as well not start or at least move at a snails pace. With the right “who” in your life the other questions will be revealed yet the problem usually isn’t with who but whom. One can get the ball rolling but the others can steal it away. It takes several good people to make it flow just right and sometimes the 1st who (you) isn’t as ready as the what,where, when, why and how think they are.
I discovered scripts I never realized were still in this world but have not found the one I was looking for. My office is cleaner then it’s been in years yet the script that is magic is still missing. Have you dealt with the mystery where you are searching for one thing but find everything else? I’m not giving up hope though for there are many other worlds (rooms) to inspect and keyboards to type before “Minderella” has to put on a new shoe.
I recently read a Wall Street Journal article that almost put me to sleep concerning what to do with juror’s who believe bedtime is meant to occur in a jury box. Let’s face it even the most dramatic speaker can sound like a bedtime story if they continue speak without interaction for long periods of time and trust me some lawyers tone’s are meant for nap time rather then court time. To make matters worse the complexity of a case can cause people to drift off into a more exciting world even if these dry facts are the key to a case. Therefore it is important that the juror’s have some interaction with the courtroom drama rather then drift into La, La, Land. This can occur with questions that juror’s are allowed to ask the lawyers and even those on the witness stand at different intervals. To keep matters flowing this will only occur at certain periods of a trial and questions will be asked randomly or on a lottery type basis. Those that object to my suggestion can take a nap and think about it in the morning.
Let’s see if white privilege has helped me or my loved one’s life. Here are just few things one should consider.
(1) SPECIAL ED CLASS- This wasn’t a class for those of privilege but those who knew they were truly not special. A label I took for 2 years of my life but carried throughout my youth.
(2) WHITE LOCK OUT – I didn’t feel to privileged when opportunities in business were locked out for me and my family because we didn’t have the right color of skin which continues today in diverse NYC.
(3) OUT PARTIES- I recall not being invited to parties/events rather then have a special key that let me in.
(3) WHITE LOCK IN- Privilege didn’t appear to knock on my door as the cell door was slammed closed after false charges were brought against me. That privilege didn’t buy me freedom only an expensive lawyer who was able to tell the truth.
Maybe it can be explained by the pigment of my skin for I’m not white in the Albino sense or could this “white privilege” concept be just used to insure those who make $$’s on racial divide continue to reap these benefits.
Former Officer Phillip Brailsford is not guilty but neither is he completely innocent. We can understand how the Officer felt Daniel Shaver was a threat when he reached back enough to respond but what the officer did previously precipitated this action. The Officer didn’t fully take into account the suspects emotional state and didn’t calm the situation down enough for a peaceful resolution. If instead the officer slowed down his words and his actions as well insured that Daniel fully understood the instruction by having him repeat them then Phillip might still be alive. Furthermore if the Officer went up to Phillip Brailsford while he lay in an immobile position instead of crawl in his direction this would have been resolved peacefully. Why was it necessary to have the suspect crawl toward him and why did former Officer Phillip Brailsford feel this tone would help end this situation in the best light? These are just two questions that the video makes the viewer ask and say the Police Officer might not be guilty but was he truly innocent?

I want to try and attempt to make life’s better in every action that I take. Whether it be simple actions such as cleaning a room so that others will feel more organized, developing a project which helps lift another up their mountains, or just making a joke which adds a bit more happiness to the moment my actions/words should help in some way. Yet for me to take live such a life I must be healthy in mind, body and soul. Therefore proper exercise, dietary care and some rest needs to be achieved. I’m sure not all my actions will grab another directly for there are times I will fall to my own ego but even then let them help me find another way to keep climbing. So when I move up the ladder it will lead to a crowded place.
