March 3, 2018- Michael Wolff has shocked the main stream media with his new book “Fire & Fury Part II” or the “real story”.  “I wanted to give the media the story they wanted to read in my first book and then once I grabbed them tell the truth in the 2nd book, otherwise the truth would never be heard”, said Michael Wolff.  The 2nd book tells the opposite account of a White House Administration that was able to move past initial problems fairly quickly with an extremely competent Commander in Chief in charge. There is a rumor that Donald Trump might have known about this scheme from the beginning and brilliantly Chess Mated the mainstream press with his initial reaction. “Fire and Fury  Part II” is not expected to be the blockbuster of part I with mainstream critics lambasting it as fiction but is sure to be a favorite of the many deplorables especially those that are irredeemable.

If someday (G-D forbid) I’m the only one to read my blog posts would I still write? That day after day I found know one even took a look no matter the brilliance or stupidity on these pages would I spend the time?  Would I sing a song if know one else listened (probably so my voice isn’t that great) but would I cook a meal or even think a creative thought if there was no one to share them with?  Probably so for I see no reason to keep these thoughts bottled up in a bottle that never has the chance to be opened. So even if that bottle is lost on the internet highway maybe some day long past my time someone will open and find some treasures inside that just might be shared by others as well.

Can the human world give me one day with the divine? One day a week is all that is commanded to put in prospectus the being that keeps us beating the entire week.  A day where I free myself of the issues in the business world that seem so important on the other days so that nothing else appears to matter at that moment but everything still does. For without G-D’s impact I and my loved ones would not have the other days to worry and contemplate about and/or those issues on the table.  Shabbos might not mean much to you but it’s the air that keeps the rest of the days flowing for me.

Let history judge where the nations stood as the people of Iran bravely stand against an evil tyrannical dictatorship. Nikki Haley has brought the despicable actions of this evil regime in front of the U.N Security Council  to see how they will cast their vote for freedom or tyranny and every American no matter what their political strikes should stand with her.  For G-D willing eventually the people will win and then they will realize which nation stood with them and which nation turned away. Maybe if more nations stand together against this evil that day will come sooner rather then later and peace as well as justice will prevail for a great people who have been oppressed for way too long.

I know I’m revealing a bit of my age for those who mathematicians but what the hell I’m still around today. So here is a comparison of the benefits of these two time periods (below) from just one person who has lived through both periods and G-D willing many tomorrows as well.

1980’s PLUSES ++++

1. Community – With only a few selections in entertainment that was not as easily at your disposal there actually was something we all could talk about at the water cooler or recess.
2. Big Events- Events were larger in the 1980’s then they are today because the hype truly had an impact through the select media we all watched.
3. CNN – It actually did a better job pretending it was fair and balance then it does today. Journalist actually gave Republican’s some credit for achieving good results.
4. NFL– Football and all other sports were actually fun for all to watch not political showcases that leave many looking for other entertainment.
5. NY Met’s & USA Hockey- Who could forget the 1986 dream World Series win for the NY Mets and the conquest of the Evil Empire on the Ice Rink.
6. Ronald Reagan- Trust me he was hated as much by the main stream press but the patriotism that he brought back to our shores was contagious.
7. Outside- We actually enjoyed playing and being outside without a phone.

TODAY

1. Medicine- Friends and family members we would have lost in the past are alive and healthy in today’s times.
2. Fingertip Knowledge- The world of knowledge is truly at your fingertips without a trip to the library or even carrying a book.
3. Food Options- I can’t remember a time when anyone ate Guacamole, Kiwi’s or Sushi and forget about the quality of Chocolate.
4. Entertainment Options-  Compare 3 basic channels and records to today’s endless options in entertainment.
5. Fox News – We can actually listen to different viewpoints on all the major issues.
6. Technology – The advances in technology appear endless and are in all aspects of one’s life.
7. Niche’s  There are ways you can more easily find someone who shares your unique characteristics.

It seems obvious today that Pharaoh should have given in to the frogs and locust before G-D  hit his people with the 8th plaque yet what about today’s despots? Don’t they realize that G-D isn’t on their side either.  Yes these individuals might not have G-D’s wrath burning down from hail above (for now) but the people and nations are starting to speak out in the name of G-D that freedom and justice is a universal right that they can’t dictate away. They might continue to survive for the short time but their reign of terror will end and they will face their own set of plaques if not on this level then the burning one they will be going to sooner then they think.

FOOTNOTE- There is free will to chance the ultimate path but watch you’re own plaques for they come with more pain ever time you try to ignore the previous one.

It appears in today’s time that no act is forgotten and remembered if it happened today. We judge others by the values and ethics of today when remembering how they acted in the past. Which begs the question when is it time to forget? Should we live in the past or just learn from it?   Maybe it’s time to forget the pain and remember the time, to insure that in today’s time we don’t create another painful memory we soon can’t forget.

Attorney General Sessions is directing his prosecutors to follow the federal law as it relates to states that have legalized Marijuana sales yet that appears to be wrong to many who were never big defenders of “state rights”.  I for one believe that as the constitution states those laws that aren’t strictly defined by the rights of the constitution should be delegated to the states as long as they don’t interfere with interstate commerce  and therefore believe that states should decide on this issue without interference with the federal government. Yet you can’t have your pot on one hand and unborn babies on the other. If you believe states have the right to defend the decisions of their citizens then obviously they should have the right to defend those that are unborn if they so deem so.  Where do you stand and just as importantly why?
