I’m just getting my hand dealt as I’m on episode 2 but that’s all what appears on my viewing screen as this season starts out ready for me to fold.  A matter of fact episode 2 is enough to close the deck if I hadn’t seen how the other seasons came back winning. Without Kevin Spacey on the scene it’s as if all the aces have disappeared from the deck and I’ll be lucky if a King or Queen shows up. Claire’s character alone isn’t compelling and the other characters don’t have me just staying.   Who knows a whole new deck might just appear with exciting new cards that will up my bet but up to know I’ll just hold.

The question must be said why Alec Baldwin, why? Of course a person is innocent before guilty but just the idea that a famous actor was worrying about a parking spot seems bizarre. What he couldn’t afford to park in a garage? Was his limousine driver sick or his credit card not working so he couldn’t take an Uber? Another words why would he even consider parking a car in the street and of all places NYC? Parking in the streets of NYC something even those without any of his resources try to avoid.   Unless Mr. Baldwin was looking for some new camera shots in the offices of the NYPD.

There’s one word missing from the President’s lexicon that should be introduced right after the November 6th… S-O-R-R-Y.   Yes, I know this 5 letter word will be used by your opponents when it is said but hopefully it will passed on to the general discourse as a nation as well.  A President has the bully pulpit to actually make changes in our nature and being sorry for mistakes instead of excuses will truly be helpful for all.   I’m not saying this 5 letter word becomes part of the Presidents daily jargon but once in awhile between campaigns it shouldn’t hurt him or our nation to hear it be said.

Sometimes a good cry can help you see things you were blinded to before.  It  is a cry where you cleanse your own ego and plead with the one who is truly in charge to give you guidance.  Just as Hagar was able to see water in the midst of a desert may your eyes be opened as tears clear the way for a new vision of hope, health, happiness and succes when despair is the only thing you see in your horizon.

A new federal law must be passed that requires any institution which has a group of over 25 people meeting on a regular basis to have at least one “Protection Angel”. This individual would be licensed to carry a gun in such an institution in order to protect “the group” from a possible mass shooter before it actually occurred or at least stop it quickly. Once the group approves of “said individual(s)” they would go for federal training and therefore avoid any unnecessary state restriction.  States could still restrict the individual in others areas where they might carry.  Each institution that is involved in this program would have a notification posted on the outside so that it would cause a perpetrator to think twice before entering

If I had to pick a way to die it would be as close to G-D’s hands as possible. For the victims of the massacre in Pittsburgh they at least died with the fingers out. As they were in a house of worship at a time of prayer and refection as the bullets came their way. They didn’t suffer months and months of agony before the last call it was quick, sudden and all together unexpected. G-D willing the gates of heaven were open a bit more ajar then normal as their last moments were filled in this holy place.  May this blog piece give some extra peace to their loved one’s who were left behind thinking it was way too soon.

I wish you could taste this blog piece because then my writing would be just about perfect.  Maple Cheerios has the delicious crispy taste of Cheerios with just the right amount of Maple which makes it sweet enough for an adult mouth. A taste that continues after the last bite even if it’s just one. Maple Cheerios enough writing it’s time to eat instead.

This is not me although the resemblance can’t be mistaken. For I’ve been taken out of my body by the circumstances that have brought me to this point. Trust me if you looked at my mirror on another day or different place I’d look totally different.   The image I wanted to potray is quite different then the one which the environment has caused me to change.

There are songs that open you up to a world that is often closed. This song does just that and G-D willing it will inspire us all to remember as well.
