I believe it’s time to change the regime in Iran from within, but that will require force from without. Here (below) is my concept.
(1) Protect a Kurdish Area in Iran that provides sanctuary to dissident voices and opposition fighters as a whole. This area can grow depending on conditions on the ground. This area will be protected by U.S. Air support and, where needed, military assistance. We, though, won’t be directly involved in fighting on the ground.
(2) Support opposition protests around Iran and eliminate any threats to their safety from the air. Provide military assistance wherever Massad and the CIA can safely do so.
(3) Have “protected” training facilities outside Iran to support opposition forces that want to overthrow the government. The opposition will build and maintain these facilities, while U.S. forces will defend them.
