Some times you try to hard with a crowd that doesn’t like Y-O-U and it shows. Honestly, even as MAGA supporter I tried to look away at the Correspondence Dinner. The President tried so hard to fit in with the “cool crowd” that he looked awkward and even “geeky”. It would have been better if the President had a short speech with some “self depreciating jokes” then a stick that fell completely flat. Mr. President stay with your day job or at least find a more friendly audience to perform for.
