Happy Underdog 250! Yes, we are the underdog from our very start as we took on the greatest power in the world by far and defeated them. Our forefathers truly risked it all for the concept of basic human rights guaranteed by G-D not political power. This country which has had to overcome the evil institutions of their time such as slavery, child labor, monopoly power etc somehow stayed together through it without destroying the key principles underneath it. The US has become the world power as others have left the stage although it appears it’s always a vote away from their destiny.
