They are put through a simulation that we as the “higher species” create with our strange artificial objects effect all their senses. Their reality is twisted by what we allow them to experience or not as well as the way we react to it. Of course dogs traumatic experiences can add to a deluded thought, sound or even vision. We might appear to be the smarter being by looking in their mirror but I wonder how many cracks in the one we truly should be looking through?
