Let’s have a 30 Day break from the hate that we see on many a political aisle, at least until we can laugh together at it again. The Washington Correspondence Dinner should have been that time, but TDS caused another to go overboard with rage and violence. It’s enough already; let’s put away the intensity for each other, as others from outside try to pull us apart, so they can come in. I know that, in time, the hate will begin as the campaigns get ugly, but is a 30-day hiatus too much to ask for?
FOOTNOTE- Maybe during this hiatus, we can find a way to fully fund Homeland Security and the Secret Service, who put their lives on the line to protect even those who vote against funding them.
