It’s simple the war between Russia & Ukraine must end sooner rather then later. Currently there is a stalemate which is just causing death and destruction day after day. Yes, Russia did invade but this didn’t happen out of know where and steps could have been taken by the allies to prevent it from occurring in the first place. Russia is not a country that will allow a loss and has nuclear weapons if it feels trapped. So Trumps proposal makes a great deal of sense even if it’s far from perfect. Here’s (below) how I see it.
(1) With U.S Mineral rights in Ukraine. Russia will not attack Ukraine because that could easily provoke a United States response.
(2) European forces will also be involved in helping securing Ukraine which will deter Russia from attacking as this could become a NATO response instead.
(3) Russia will then build up an economic plan with the United States lessening it’s relationship on China.
(4) War in Europe will end an economic development plan will help all those involved instead.
