Wonka had simplistic character development, a predictable story, music that was not catchy yet I still liked it as much as a piece of 70% chocolate. Maybe it was the fleeting touching moments, slight funny tone, love of chocolate, mood I was in that had my actually love this silly movie but come to think of it the Loompa Oompa truly stole my heart. Wonka could have turned into Milk but instead was full of the good stuff instead.
FOOTNOTE- I have no clue how this saintly Wonka becomes the dark one from the chocolate factory sequel.
