Yesterday at the Bills Kansas City Playoff game this ending was clear for everyone to see. Yes, the team I routed for lost in the last minute but that wasn’t why it was so crushing. For the game was an artistic endeavor with amazing athletic achievements along the path until a chip field goal attempt came out a big dud. What could have been incredible overtime or last minute win was washed away with a kick which everyone assumed was a given. Yet it was such a shocking surprise that I wonder if maybe the ending wouldn’t have been so bad if this was a movie I was watching instead?
