One of the best features of all entertainment is the “twist” but what happens after the great reveal? If the twist occurs in the last chapter/scene well then the viewer has already been drawn in to stay for the closing credit/last page but if it happens a bit can the viewer still be glued to their entertainment? I guess it depends on how connected they are to the characters and/or how the story continues to develop afterwards. Yet one thing can be said for sure a great twist will leave the viewer thinking way after the entertainment has ended.
