What is the best calculus when to determine if one is add/ and or delete a bit of “spirit” to their life? Here are some of the factors (below) in my calculus.
(1) Ride Home- No amount of good time is worth the pain one can bring if they drink over the limit. Hotel stays or buddy ride homes delete this negative.
(2) Paid For – If the drinks are already paid for in advance such an invite to a party then a plus is added to the alcohol balance sheet.
(3) Prepared- Is your body prepared for such indulgence so that the after effects won’t linger long after the drinking has ended. Maybe it’s an extra glass of something in advance that makes sure everything stays in place after.
(4) Food- Have you eaten a great deal in advance if so then anything over a cocktail might be a waste of your time and mind?
(5) Next Day- What is your schedule for your next day and how will the spirit of the moment add or delete from your next days alarm clock.
