“Talk To Me” was the first artistic surprise of the summer. Barbie, Mission Impossible, Oppenheimer, Raiders of the Lost Art number 100 and even Sound Of Freedom were basically what the viewer expected but “Talk To Me” had you speaking in a different direction way after the credits rolled. Yes, all the previous named films had decent acting, costume design and sets but only “Talk To Me” achieved something NeW and bold. The sound effects in “Talk To Me” were eerie in a way that must be heard in the theater. Yet, the greatest achievement was the script and character development which led one down a path untaken this summer film season. In the end “Talk To Me”, was the dive in a lake that just hit the spot of fun.
**** I curved it up a 1/2 star based on the summer selection The biggest negative in this film comes from my own background as the Australian accent was a bit hard for me to fully understand.
