Maybe today is a monkey day. Where I just close my eyes, ears, and even my mouth to the world around me. For, I opened to some election headlines that made me want to go back to bed. The truth is that what happens outside my box of a world is something behind my control so why even look in that direction? Maybe I’ll just listen to a horror podcast because at least that is a fantasy.
Fetterman’s win is our loss as a nation! Yes, I’m a partisan but this isn’t about politics this is about competence, and let’s face it John Fetterman doesn’t have much after suffering a debilitating stroke. I’m sorry it occurred but it did and that people still elected him for office is just a complete embarrassment. The way things are going in this country I wouldn’t be surprised if he became the Democratic nominee for President in 2024 for it appears being able to think on the job is not what is needed anymore.
I’m telling you the sky is about to fall!! I know I said that before but today is the date and I can tell by that bloody moon. So get out and vote against those dastardly Republicans. Our Democracy is on the line as the glaziers and polar bear population proof it. It’s going to fall this time trust me I hear the wolf and it’s crying too. Oh wait was it the boy honestly I don’t have a clue. All I know is the sky is falling and I need to go back to bed for my cookies and a good fairy tale. You’ve been warned!!
11/08/22- 5.58 AM-President Biden signed an Emergency Order extending voting in all 50 states for Democrats to Wednesday, November 9th. “This act is to ensure the safety of Democrats against the threat of evil MAGA Republicans,” said President Biden. “Come on Man, we can’t allow them to storm the capital again”, said the President. Who later stated he got January 6th mixed up with November 8th. Democrats can vote without any ID’s or signatures required on November 9th ensuring that all who want to vote aren’t intimidated from the November 8th date.
FOOTNOTE- The President also signed an Executive Order allowing the leasing of Brooklyn Bridge to raise monies for the Inflationary Reduction Act.
“Weird Al Yankovic” story on Roku is true in a way I’m not sure the filmmakers knew they were creating. The film has moments where it is hysterical and other times where it is simply over the top and I’m sorry to say a bit annoying. Very similar to Weird Al Yankovic. The film is worth seeing because it makes fun of every other “true story” about musicians where it feels like the world or at least the film was created just for them. Yes, the world spun before and after such a star was born but when watching many of these films they make it appear as if it just stopped until…. Weird Al Yankovic appears to be a nice and unique individual which this movie truly captures which in the end makes it more true than many other biopics.
** 1/2 – It really fell off at the end. I guess you can give a 1/2 credit more if you stay for the full credits.
It’s time podcasts take us to a whole different world “The Shadow” podcast would do so. Instead of just telling some story it would act it out as what occurred in the radio era but with today’s technical aspects. Imagine being transported from “traffic” as you escape to a whole new realm of entertainment that truly takes you away. “The Shadow” podcast maybe the past has something new for us today?
I believe there is room in the entertainment circle to bring back “Vaudeville” especially if food and drinks are connected to it. Vaudeville would give an opportunity to those who aren’t household names to demonstrate their talents in front of a “live audience. With food and drinks connected to the “show”, it would be a win/win for everyone. The acts would be a whole lot shorter than in the past as well as the entire show allowing patrons to enjoy from their mind, body, and even maybe their soul. These acts also could do a circuit with other restaurants that want to be part of the “act”. Vaudeville something old can become new and fun again.

I feel trapped even though everything appears to be right here. For, unbeknownst to those in the neighborhood there are pockets of quicksand that pull me down, way down. Once I escape from one pocket and feel peace, I suddenly find another just around the corner that quickly has me sinking. Realistically, I should just get away and settle for something far away from this trap but I’m afraid that what is outside may not be actually better for me. Should I really give up everything for some peace of mind or keep attempting to find a way to scuttle through as I walk through a maze of pins and needles?
It is the separation from the world “we live in” and the actual world we put ourselves in. Sometimes our barrier is so thick, tall, and strong that we just forget it is there and keep walking. 
Other times we need someone to cut through a layer so we can peer through. It’s scary to see a reality that is far from the distance we’ve been walking so many will try to not look at any of the cuts straight on and pretend the barrier still exists. Layers get built around the hole so over time the individual can hardly peer through again. G-D knows though for those daring enough to break through starting on the 8th what they eventually see is out of this world!!!
