Cry Impeachment

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Once upon a time there were these Democrats and lame media that would cry “Impeachment, Impeachment” whenever the President would do anything.  The towns folk would run and look all around but as this occurred over and over again less folks even got out of their beds. Eventually a new President took over who committed many high crimes and misdemeanors but the people didn’t even go out and look. Maybe that was the point because he was a Democrat.

Who Is Mojo

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Who is Mojo anyway? They appear to have all the answers you’ve ever asked yourself on “movies” but who gave this “decree”?  Yes, I usually agree with many of their findings but for that point who am I to judge as well?   Mojo is just another way to find out whether “you’re right” at least in their eyes.  In other words it gives you the confidence to say that you have the facts  on the top 10 on any movie subject but only if you agree with their conclusion.

Hole Unfilled

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

When a loved one leaves us it leaves a hole that can be filled but maybe patched along the way. For that person had a special role in our life which can’t be totally replaced but others can mend it to make smaller and more bearable to deal with.I’m sorry to say that many will have more holes in their lifespan and unless they are open to being patched by others those holes will only get bigger and bring them down before their time.  We can never replace a loved one lost neither should we  but at least we should open our hearts, minds and souls for the patches that will come along our journey.

Proof Guaranteed

PROOF GUARANTEE will take this process out of human hands and put it into a computer based system instead.  An individual will place their ID in the console and then verify it’s her/him with a fingerprint or IRIS check.  Once there age is verified they will receive a stamp on their hand which will allow them to purchase products/services for their legal age.  A bartender, cashier, service employee will then just scan their hand when purchasing these products/services and their liability for any underage or illegal purchases will be completely clear.  PROOF GUARANTEE isn’t it time that businesses worry more about the products and services they offer then fear the liability of who they sell it to?

FOOTNOTE–  This also can be a 1st step in gun purchases but instead of checking one’s age it would check their criminal and mental health background.

Why Speak

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Why does a person speak to another?  I believe it’s for 2 reasons one to gain another’s perspective or to have another validate their thoughts in someway.  We don’t usually speak when we around company that we believe will  insult us for such words that come out of our lips. Which is another reason I miss my mom who actually listened to what I said before she made her conclusion as she saw them in a cup that at least had some water in it rather then one which was dry before I even opened my mouth.

Retro 80’s Weekend

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

I had 80’s retro weekend which brought back some awesome memories. From the discussion of the beginning’s of MTV with the original VJ’s to a visit down Rambo lane with a Pit Stop of  the latest installment in the theatre’s today. MTV changed the musical scene forever during this time period as artist were not just judged on the sound but the look and today has changed into something that is anything but music. MTV was the scene where every artists needed to be seen and today I’m afraid it’s a whole different picture.  Rambo was the anti-hero, hero who stood tough when everything around him was collapsing .The latest version (review coming out later) brought back some of those memories and added a few twists that kept the series alive for today’s market.  This was my time and looking back made it appear brighter then it did before.

100 For 1

I saw my first wild mink in my life and it had my thinking about the other 100 or so used in 1 fur coat.  I love animals but at the same time believe people should do what they want with their own hard earned monies $$$ so I’m not asking for any ban.   Yet for me 100 of these little creatures for just 1 coat appears to be way to excessive. Yes, this coat can be worn for many generations and it probably will keep you really warm but one leather coat and a few layers can do the same trick.   I’m only showing you 2 of these little creatures which you would have to multiply by 50 just for that 1 coat. I also don’t believe there is 1000’s of wild Munk’s that would starve to death if they weren’t hunted down and used  in coats.  It’s your choice but I choose life for minky friends instead.

Where’s The Phone

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Can someone tell me where the phone is.  I’m not actually talking about the device but the one I actually answer when I get something called a “call”.  With all these App’s around it I’m not sure where it went and I’m expecting an important call. Oh no it’s ringing now and I know it’s between my Facebook , Twitter and gDMSS Lite which I have no idea what the one is but I have it.   Oh here it is and I finally received the call for a new App I can put on my phone. Sounds interesting but where did the phone go now.

Rebel Thank You

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

It’s not the “traditional thing” to do when those come to pay respect for a loved one that dies but some of us must walk a different “thank you” path.  I understand people should go to see you during this difficult time because it’s “the right thing to do” and not expect anything in return for such an act.  It’s also difficult for a grieving party it might to thank anyone at such a point in their life. Yet I must walk on a different path. Maybe it’s the “Bud” part of me that wants to acknowledge all the kind words and gestures or maybe it’s just I feel this path is too rigid for me. So “Thank you for all your kind words, gestures and love for me as well as my family” during this difficult time we truly appreciate it even if I’m the only rebel to say so.

Non-Microphone Moments

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Some of the greatest moments are when our microphone’s are turned off.  When the remarks we might say are far from political correct as well as fail the sensitivity test. These are the moments when we are with our “real friends”and just blabber away as if we had not one too many but a bottle instead.  Non-Microphone moments are truly special because they are not made to make such a broad statement just one that comes out without really thinking.
