In a tragic irony those that fought and died to eliminate the greatest evil in America’s society would have their descendants pay those they died fighting for under reparations. Just because one’s skin color is white (with mixed marriages that’s not easily defined ) doesn’t mean that they stood on one side or the other in the right to end slavery and bring on civil rights to all. A matter of fact the main reason these horrendous time period(s) in our country ended is because many white people demanded it occur with their sweat, blood and bones. These individuals in the past knew a person shouldn’t be judged by the color of their skin but what is in their heart but now that appears to be reversed. That is just another reason that reparations makes no sense today or in the future.
