I was barely in grammer school when this news story hit and has stayed with me ever since. I remember those in my sleep away camp cheering as the President, Richard Nixon left the White House for the last time yet for some reason sadness enveloped me instead. Maybe it was because I was a Rebel from an early age or maybe who represented our country to the world fall to disgrace. I’m not sure all I know is that this was the 1st story to impact my life.
