President Trump knows that Russia interfered in the 2016 election so his denials are more about perception then reality.  If the President had openly admitted to the problem from day one he feels it would not only add ammunition but a gun to his Anti-Trump opponents. This would be a weapon to use against him to delegitimize his victory at the election booth. Would the President been able to organize the votes to pass tax reform and get Neil Gorusch to the bench with this tail wind beating down, from him which he opened the window to? Think about the demoralizing effect it also could have on his supporters who worked tirelessly and contributed mightly to the campaign would they jump in the ring with the same force in 2018 and 2020 if they felt it was rigged even for their fighter?

The truth is Russia did interfere with our election and it could have had an effect but so could the weather so let’s do more to protect our country with a new umbrella. The President knows  that an admission will keep that umbrella opened even during sunny days and he’d rather have it put away  as to focus instead on how we can continue to make America great.

Technology is making us all a bit dumber.  For there was a time that you actually had to memorize a name or information but “Google” says it was only 2004. Now when I forget the name of the Russian President (it actually still  came to my mind) I don’t need to concentrate to retrieve it just type away. Our minds can appear smarter then they are depending on how close a smart device is to it.  The challenge is to put down our smart devices and search for the information in a more brilliant body our mind and if that doesn’t work this this one question then exercise your friends mind as well. For  the less we use our minds the more they become lazy/weak and that is a terrible thing to waste.

Even though the plane has taken off you could still be builing that dam. For it takes a certain mindset to be on vacation and too often mine can arrive just as I’m clocking back into work.  This mindset of carefree living where time stands still for a few moments longer then when the dam is being formed.  It doesn’t require a plane or boat but a feeling of peace, tranquility and joy.  Sd it’s time to add this to mine and your agenda for it’s a damn shame if we don’t enjoy the dam after it’s been built.

I realize that the impact we leave in our environment can be as significant as the one we leave in the world.  What is the impact our carbon footprint is making? Do our loved ones and like one’s think about the words and actions that we hope are planted in our roots or are we just a shrub in the woods that one looks when passing that way?  How have we effected the very environment that we walk in on a regular basis and if we leave will it take a tree to replace us or just a patch of grass? Wealth and fame can play a role in this growth but the character is what really stays in the ground.  As long as the oxygen runs through it’s never too late to build a new root and I hope to add a few along the way.

While most including myself find the N word offensive especially from a person in a leadership position I wonder what your thoughts on the following deeper questions would be? These questions are deeper then a quick chew and might reflect actually tasting the sauce before and after the bite.

(1) Should the remarks of one individual affect thousands of employees that work within the said company?

(2) Is there any documented proof that John Schantter “words” were backed up by action? For example were there proven acts of discrimination in any of the aspects of the Papa John’s chain since it’s formation?

(3) Should an individual have their life’s works erased (Yankee Stadium, College contributions) etc not by what is done but what one said?

(4) Have we heard the N word used in other settings and basically ignored it because of who and where it was said?

(5) Would the remarks have such dire consequence if spoken by a Donkey VS an Elephant?

(6) If John Schantter said that his offensive remarks were made to be “humorous” would we be more forgiving?

(7) What other words should have an individual fired and have his fellow employees suffer and who decides what they are?

You draw your own conclusion but as for me I’ll have a Papa John’s Pizza with extra garlic or maybe I won’t because Domino’s is better tasting.

What do you see when you’re eyes are actually closed?  It’s interesting when my eye’s are closed I see light of different shapes. The shapes will differ in size and brighness depending how dark it really is outside.  As time goes on the eye’s that are shut open up whole different visions as my mind drifts off to sleep.  It’s a wild thought that even in darkness I can still see some light and maybe I sign as well.

If you want to become famous fast turn coats from Red to Blue. The higher you are up on the Red scale the larger the fame change will be upon a conversion. Of course you must be willing to throw away any ideals or values to get there but if fame is your goal then you have the not so secret formula to get there. Conversion to the Blue team allows you to hang out with the celebrities and go to all the Chic parties while if you stay Red well then you’ll have to hang out with the people from Walmart.  A smell that I proudly wear as I open my bible and fire the shot gun. Fame might come my way but trust me I’ll have to earn with the color of blood running out of my vein.
