Many will seek professional treatment for their physical ailments that cause them much pain but will ignore their mental health which can hurt just as much if not more. When should an individual seek professional health to treat this part of their body? Here are some criteria I’ve set for myself and hope you will input in your life.  For if you can take care of one part of your body why neglect another.

(1) If I feel I can’t perform the basic tasks I’ve performed in the past because pain hasn’t taken over those paths professional help will be sought.

(2) On the occassion that sleeping and eating become more difficult on a routine basis it’s time that I seek the help to bring them back in more life.

(3) Granted that I feel as if I’m on the fight mode with the same daily individuals in my life then I would need the professional help to develop a strategy so I can fly away from this emotional pain.

(4) On the occassion I see or hear things that others have no perception of then maybe it’s time I look in a different direction.

(5) If my mind is consumed with hurting myself or others then I would seek treatment to lessen the blows to my head.

To conclude it’s important to seek professional treatment in times when emotions are controlling your life and the paths you would take.
