While the effort to have the government pay African American’s for the actions of some during the vile days of slavery has failed private companies complicit in such actions should have to pay.  If for example there is a cotton company that is currently in operations that owes it’s existance to the enslavement of fellow American’s then a portion of their profits should be disbursed to their legacy.  Of course since these actions have occurred over a hundred years ago, it might be difficult to determine who should actually receive these monies so a general fund can be established to benefit African American’s who are trying to start their own businesses. Wealth established literally on the backs of others should be contributed back to those they left behind.

FOOTNOTE- There must be a clear link between the act of slavery and profits otherwise reparations will be a joke as seen with this video below.
