One thing I believe society has realized is that it isn’t good for a person to feel lonely for too long a period of time. We also know there isn’t enough professional people around to help those who have such feelings but we know there are plenty of 4 legged friends who would be there to listen to anyone’s pain. Dogs can help others feel as is there is a way off their emotional island where the water is calm and peaceful. They can help supplement the work of a professional when they can’t be there. Maybe it’s time we put a wagging tail and a few licks into the lives of those that feel alone.
