As a practicing person of the Jewish faith I have some concern for my Christian Brothers & Sisters starting this Wednesday. For if I fully understand Ash Wednesday correctly it’s the beginning of 40 days of Lent where one is commanded to give up something they love for 40 days and with Valentines occurring on the same day this has got to be more difficult then normal. I can’t imagine giving up something such as Chocolate or other delicious edibles just as one holiday tells one to indulge and the other tells you to restrain. It’s enough to make one think about a quick conversion … at least for the day. Yet if you’re thinking about joining my tribe there’s a cut, fast and flat breads I have to warn you about.
