Happy Death Day feels as if I’m watching a Political Correct version of “Scream” even if the story is a bit different. The campy type of humor is so similar that you’re ready to grab your own knife. Even the masks have a similar feel to them even though they are quite different. Happy Death Day has a more original story line but it’s PC moments are way too predictable. Furthermore “Scream” did most of the scene’s first and with better screams but “Happy Death Day” is for a whole new generation of screamers and maybe this one cuts to their generation better.
